Advancing Opportunities has an excellent opportunity for a PART TIME Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant in our office in Ewing, NJ. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This individual will be responsible for receptionist duties including: phone, visitor, and mail responsibilities.
The Administrative Assistant will also provide secretarial support to senior managers, including correspondence, meetings, reports and data management.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative position as well as excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. Additionally candidates must have demonstrated ability to work in a multi-tasking environment and display excellent judgment and confidentiality. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including word and excel is also required.

Needed to provide out-reach to local schools, parent groups, recreation dept’s., etc. to promote the expansion of our non-profit agency’s current Family Support programs. This job involves managing an inventory of technology: purchasing, setting up, installing, troubleshooting, upgrading equipment, and working with vendors. Job duties include tracking equipment in a database, shipping and receiving equipment, and updating the website with product information. It also involves supporting others on the phone by answering questions, and helping people use the technology and troubleshoot equipment remotely.

Job Summary: The behavioral specialist is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of individuals that require a prescribed behavior modification program. The behavioral specialist will ensure that all behavior modification programs used within the agency shall be in accordance with professional ethical standards and currently accepted practice.
Essential Duties:
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, sociology, guidance counselor or social work. Master’s level preferred. Evidence of a minimum of three years working with persons with developmental disabilities including behavior modification. Evidence that applicant has actively worked with and understands components of a behavior plan. Excellent communication skills are mandatory, including writing skills, presentation to groups and ability to access all levels of presenting behaviors. Ability to vary work schedule as needed.
