Roll, Walk, Ride for Independence

Join Advancing Opportunities on Sunday, September 22, 2013 and do the distance! The agency will be holding 50 and 20 mile bike rides and a 5k roll/walk to raise money to advance the independence of people with all kinds of disabilities.
Both bike rides depart and finish at Mercer County Park in West Windsor, NJ and are fairly flat with a few small hills. The 20 mile ride is perfect for novices. The 5k roll/walk is a wheelchair accessible route that winds through the park and is a great activity for families!
Registration for the bike rides is $35 before August 28, 2013 and $40 after. Riders on the 50 mile route depart at 8 a.m.; riders on the 20 mile ride depart at 9 a.m. Registration for the 5k roll/walk is $20 per person before August 28, 2013 and $25 after. The roll/walk steps off at 10 a.m. Participants will receive a t-shirt and lunch. Download the registration flyer here.

In the past, this event was called Cycling for Independence and was just for cyclists. Advancing Opportunities added the 5k roll/walk to make it an event families could enjoy together. We hope you’ll join us!
