This year, 2011, has been a busy one for Advancing Opportunities. We expanded our residential program in Salem County and now Tom, who lived for 35 years at the New Lisbon Developmental Center, resides in his very own apartment.

Not only is Tom living in a home instead of an institution – he is enjoying his independence and making the decisions most folks make every day and take for granted – what to have for supper, what to watch on tv, what to do on a Saturday afternoon.

Advancing Opportunities couldn’t keep expanding its services, and helping people with disabilities like Tom, without support and donations from friends like you.
